Lunch in aviemore

After a full breakfast at tesco (we declined to join the locals in drinking irn bru with it) we set off from sea level to climb into the cairngorms.  Hills were not too steep, so fairly long climb to the summit at 1330 ft.  Got off the busy a9 and took in some wonderful scenery.

Still raining but wind has dropped.  Forecast for tomorrow looks good.

Lunching In aviemore which is only at 700 ft.  25 miles to go which has left today feeling very short.....not a bad thing.
